Over a year ago, I had my first intentional journey with psychedelics (as part of a 50 hour training in order to learn assist my clients through their own experiences).
In the journey, I had a vision of a tiger, who provided an opportunity to merge and move as tiger moves. Initially, I only saw the eye of the tiger. Then, I was looking at it’s face. Then, my consciousness merged with the consciousness of the tiger. We were traversing through the cosmos as ONE. The tiger then gave me a visual of this art project I was invited to create and hang on the wall in my office. Tiger’s medicine includes – power, energy, strength and willpower in the face of adversity, acting in a timely manner – being in the now, acting without analysis, walker of secret paths and ancient ways, passion, devotion, confidence, and courage.
I’m not sure why, but I put off the creation of the art piece, always “intending” to do it later. Fast forward to a few months ago, and tiger showed up in a cacao journey and pointed something significant out to me-
I feel uncomfortable when people don’t follow through with what they say (when words/intentions don’t align with actions, aka integrity) and I’m vocal in pointing that out in others. What I didn’t recognize until that moment, is that putting off this painting is a way in which I do that myself!
The picture above is part one. There are some words that came to me in the original journey which I’ll add, transforming it to mixed media.
I don’t know what will come of having this project complete, but I can feel inside of my soul it’s a big deal somehow. I look forward to receiving whatever is about to shift thanks to me birthing forth this vision from the ether. I’m sure the words will be important for my clients to read every week they enter the office.
