One of the many cool things that happens with the more trauma a person works through, is the development (or remembrance of) various spiritual gifts and abilities. Of of the gifts that has come online for me, is prophecy or synchronicity through dreams.
There is something very magical that happens with me, every time I travel somewhere special. I start to synchronize with the location and what to expect even prior to leaving. The latest synchronicity happened prior to my recent trip to Montana. I was invited by my friend, who assured me the trip would be ripe with outdoor adventure. She told me some of her friends had gone the same time last year and she sent me their itinerary. I looked through it, and using my intuition, I did some additional research and included something not on the original itinerary. I’m so glad that I did!
The morning of take off, my friend reminded me that several weeks prior, I’d had a dream about the trip. I’d texted her about it, so she pulled up the text and we read it together. In the text, I mentioned I had a dream we journeyed to Wild Horse Island and sat at a picnic table. We didn’t have to seek the horses out at all. We simply activated our Reiki, and the horses came to us. In the dream, I told her I saw a brown horse with a white stripe on her nose. The horse had said her name was “D” and she was lovely. I had completely forgotten about this dream, so I’m super grateful that my friend remembered and referenced the text message!
To get to Wild Horse Island, you have to charter a boat, as it’s rather remote. All I read online was that there are “wild horses” living on an island and people can see them as well as bears sometimes. I recall feeling a special spark in the air that morning as we woke up. (I’m going to write more in detail about a spectacular experience I had, personally, while on the island- but that’s for a future post). Once we were on the boat on the lake, the water was so crystal clear and shimmered blue/green, that it felt like we were on the ocean.
I felt intuitively guided to separate myself from the larger group. (In hindsight, it was necessary for the Rite of Passage I ultimately experienced). While separated, my friend and the rest of the group were on a mission to find the horses. And they did. The most remarkable thing was that there are five horses living on the island, all female. What’s more remarkable, is four of the horses are solid black, while one is brown with the white stripe down her nose! I was so happy and grateful that my friend captured the photo, because it brought the entire experience full circle. The Rite of Passage I went through on the island that day, was all about embracing myself exactly as I am. My friend entrusting me and my visions/dreams, then subsequently searching out the horse and get a photo, is evidence of her trust in me. Not simply trust either, but a deep knowing of whom I am and what I am capable of. And I see that in her as well. We worked together on this, and in doing so, both gained a new level of self acceptance and acceptance of one another in relationship to each other.
I have worked really hard to develop my skills, including dream work, and it’s such a joy to have such obvious and clear indications that everything is aligning! May we all seek out and find relationships with people that deepen our connections with ourselves, with each other, and with Spirit!
Have a wonder-filled Thursday!
