A couple of weeks ago, I travelled to another city, thinking I was going to do medicine ceremony, but instead pivoted last minute, to spend time with a family friend. (If you’re new to the newsletter and want to get caught up, explore prior posts here: https://lorirussellsiemer.com/blog/ ).
This cherished friend reminded me of the importance of Human Design. (Details of the importance of Human Design will come in a future newsletter). Using the Human Design, my friend was operating at her highest level of Self and in that space, was able to guide me in a deep and meaningful way. I could literally feel the presence of her Higher Self as we verbally processed and she pointed things out to me, that I’d been previously blind to. It was truly beautiful, and as I mentioned previously, I got every bit of “medicine” I needed that weekend without actually taking anything psychedelic!
My precious friend was hosting a sourdough making class and was doing some prep work in between our conversations, which allowed me space to sit outside and reflect. She has a magnificent garden in her backyard which attracts a variety of pollinators, lizards, and other creatures. It was the perfect space for meditation and reflection. I used bilateral music to digest and integrate a variety of emotions which were coming up. Once those were integrated and I was feeling more balanced, I went into a meditative state. In that state, here is what came forward:
-Take a beat, always, when emotions are bubbling up (This will look different for different people. It could be body consciousness, breathwork, going outside, walking, being still, or meditating)
-Be in Nature (Nature is rhythmic, patterned, and predictable, which speaks safety to the brain. When the brain feels safe, it activates the parasympathic system or “rest & digest).
-Allow the wind to whisper (This means, get quiet and listen. What is your body saying to you with the emotions and sensations its using to express something is out of balance. Also, if you’re actually IN Nature, the Wind speaks and will give you messages. One only needs ears to hear.)
-Pray (Don’t be afraid to set your intentions as “I want” statements. Let the Universe know what you want and take action to create that for yourself.)
-Feel, go through, process, and integrate your emotions (This can be done in any number of ways- therapy, journaling, movement, mantra, music, bilateral stimulation, etc. When the body/mind is flooded with emotion, we have to regulate before we can problem-solve or be in a state of receiving any sort of divine insight or wisdom).
-Create something good (Bu8ild a fire and stoke it)
-Generate a revolution by virtue of the Nature of ALL THAT IS- which include you
-Trust is the foundation of every single relationship. If you desire to be in right relationship with others, you have to be integrity with yourself. This means saying yes to yourself even when it’s saying no to others. It’s overcoming tendencies of co-dependency and people-pleasing. If you don’t trust yourself, how can you trust anyone else?
-In order to trust completely, we must be clear, Clarity is multidimensional (inclusive of mind, body, and spirit). When we integrate emotions and understand ourselves and others, we build trust be become mentally clear. This is where the heart opens. When the heart opens, we see or perceive through the eyes of the heart, which means using it’s wisdom, as opposed to the mind, which includes ego, and leads astray.
-Trust is inclusive of mutual respect and integrity, which means congruency.
Meditation is imperative. It allows for wisdom and insight to flow through. If you’re just learning to meditate, use a guided meditation. The Psychic Soul offers some great free meditations on YouTube, which are specific to astrological happenings.
