Late last year, I woke up from a dream, hearing the phrase, “You are the Dream Oracle now.” In the dream, I’d been giving a male child a reading using playing cards. The playing cards were unique, however. I recall the first card presenting was the seven of wands. The second card was an inverted six of snowflakes. The final card either I didn’t see of I cannot remember.
As I was doing the dream integration process, I began to reflect on what it means to be a Dream Oracle. A quick Google search led me to a woman who lives and works in Canada. She considers herself a Dream Oracle. I read a blog post she authored and felt something stirring in my heart. I knew I wanted to work with her. I felt compelled.
I reached out to her, and she is absolutely lovely, and gifted at what she does. As a Dream Oracle, she dreams, as I dream, and we would report to one another the following morning primarily about the feelings, sensations, emotions, patterns, and themes. As I dreamed with her, I noticed I could remember every detail about every dream I dreamed; and sometimes I’d have 6+ dreams in one night! We took off Friday and Saturday nights for integration, which was super helpful, though on my end, the dreams continued. We continued for two weeks.
There was one time when she dreamed nearly the same dream I did, it seemed she was looking at it from a different angle. Prior to beginning the work, I’d declared an intention, which was our primary focus. Nightly, my dreams were giving me information about this issue. It was quite literally mind blowing! As an intuitive, she would sometimes interject insights, which were also very helpful.
Throughout the time working with and as the Dream Oracle, I started structuring my journal posts differently. This enabled me to be able to look at the information objectively and quite literally pull forth a sentence that felt like it was a direct message or insight coming straight from my Higher Self. I put a grounding sheet on my bed, which helped me tremendously in my ability to stay asleep. My visions with Cacao also got clearer and more direct, which helped me to understand what I needed at any given moment in order to re-center or re-balance my Self.
I met my goal of understanding that parts of self that felt separated or disconnected. At the end of our work together, I got a Reiki treatment, which offered more support. Then, a book ended Cacao Ceremony, and after two weeks, the process felt complete and I felt closer to my Vision Board goal of “wholeness”. What a lovely way to start the new year!
After travelling for a girl’s weekend to Glenrose, I feel much more re-invigorated to offer readings again, whether it be regarding the dream space or wake state. Readings are $45 and are conducted over e-mail (you simply pay, then send me a question, I then use cards, a dream overnight, and intuitive to offer guidance).
